Museumkids holiday campaign

In collaboration with Museumkids, we tried to get as many children as possible to the museum during the Christmas holiday.
We created a campaign with Tikkit, the character of Museumkids, in the leading role. The emphasis is on the many activities for families and children in the museums, with the call to become a so-called online 'museum inspector'. In this way we connected offline visits with online activation.

The campaign consisted of both print advertisements and a commercial that was shown on national television, social media and Youtube during the Christmas season. 

It worked out well: almost 2000 'museum inspections' were done. 
The website visit of has increased enormously during that period and the number of active 'museum inspectors' is currently over 1425! A huge number, while the season has just begun and more campaigns will follow this year.

Museumkids is a national initiative by Museumvereniging to stimulate the interest and visit of children to museums, both online and offline. 

Kids can become a 'Museum inspector': they can rate online the musea to become kidsproof.
