‘A new Era’ marks a special moment in the nearly a hundred years of Dutch Grafic tradition. Never before has literature been the basis for this publication. The novella was written especially for the purpose by Toon Tellegen, one of the Netherlands’ most celebrated writer-poets. Nine collectives and individual designers and artists have illustrated Tellegen’s story under the direction of Lava.
